Carl had a full life with interests in ham radio, drones, boating (ocean & river), family and travel. This album includes pictures representing his 81 years. It was presented as a slideshow during Carl's Celebration of Life party was on August 27th, 2022.
Carl's last day was July 7th, 2022. We had a short ceremony at the Bellevue Memorial Park in Ontario on July 19th. We planned the Celebration of Life party on August 27th, 2022. A group of 17 family members went together on a 1-week NG Alaska's Inside Passage Expedition on July 31st, so we postponed his big party until after the trip. The Noah cousins (10 of them) came from Arkansas to join the party. Carl's family came from Washington, Nevada, Utah and Florida.
The kids that were on the Alaska trip were all excited to see each other again after our awesome NG expedition to Alaska, so Christine put together a bonfire beach party at Huntington Beach on Friday, to get the kids together again.
We had the Celebration of Life party on Saturday and then Michael & Nancy hosted a pool party on Sunday. It was a really busy weekend. Thanks to all of our friends, neighbors, boating friends, ham friends, high school friends, family (Noahs, Hatheways & Lochts) and all the others who shared their experiences and stories about Carl.
Carl's 80th birthday was on Mar 24, 2021. I really wanted to surprise him with a big party, but COVID happened. Christine came up with the idea of a ZOOM party. So...with Christine doing all of the work of sending out invitations, care packages and organizing the Zoom meetings we really surprised him!!!
Thanks to all of our friends, neighbors, boating friends and family (Noahs, Hatheways & Lochts) for their participation. This album contains the pictures and notes sent to Christine by everybody and pictures taken before and during the Zoom meetings

It was the first time to Hawaii for both of us. We selected Kauai, the "Garden Isle", because of the rain forests, majestic cliffs, jagged peaks, emerald valleys, palm trees, rainbows and the fantastic beaches. We had a fantastic time exploring this beautiful island by land, by sea and by air.
