Journal Entries for 2002-05 British Virgin Islands
OVERALL SUMMARY: Carl & I had a great trip to the BVIs. We left Sat. April 27th at 8:20 a.m. out of OC and flew through Dallas/Ft. Worth to San Juan, Puerto Rico, then took a puddle jumper to Beef Island, British Virgin Islands. We stayed initially at Lambert Beach Resort on Tortola for a few days to recover from "jet lag".

Then we rented a car and drove around the island of Tortola, exploring and snorkeling. When we were driving around, we scheduled a chartered sailboat to take us off the island for more snorkeling and to visit some of the other islands.

We left Lambert Beach Resort (it was kinda isolated) and moved to Prospect Reef for several days, right in the middle of Road Town. We chartered a motorboat to take us to some more islands for snorkeling. Boating was so much fun that we bareboat chartered a sail boat for 4 days and went snorkeling on our own. Then we rented a motorboat for a couple days and did some more exploring and snorkeling. We moved from Road Town to the other end of the island for a few nights and then came home.
